Employees at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano recently received safety and preparedness information and education from the Baylor Health Care System Emergency Management Department in coordination with FEMA as part of the National Preparedness Coalition.
The Environmental Safety and Emergency Management Department provided information to employees about disaster preparedness. The goal was to increase Baylor Plano employee's knowledge and awareness for potential hazards in their community, planning efforts completed at work, and how to prepare at home for disasters.
During this event the Environmental Safety department passed out brochures and answered questions that Baylor employees may have had concerning disaster preparedness. They also worked with the North Central Texas Council of Governments (COG) to provide information from their "KnoWhat2Do" campaign.
